What to do if you are in a car accident: 我出車禍時該如何處理?

1. Stop your car, is your car interfering with the traffic flow? If you can move it, do so 第一, 停到路旁或離開十字路 口, 以減少交通阻礙。

2. Switch on your hazard lights and check if everyone in your car or other party’s car is ok第二, 第一時間開啟車輛危險警示燈并詢問己方車輛乘客和對方是否有身體受傷需要協助。

3. Assist any injured person, Get medical help if needed第三, 協助受傷人員，如果傷情嚴重請立即叫救護車。

4. Assess the situation, Think safety first. Anticipate dangers such as leaking petrol, oil on the tar and broken glass第四，檢查安全， 例如車輛漏汽油，發現路面有機油以及玻璃破損等情況。

5. Make the sense as safe as you can by placing hazard triangles to warn other drivers第四，當你確認你是安全的同時請擺出紅色三角架用以警示其他司機此處有事故。

6. Take photographs – your cellphone will come in handy here 第六， 如果手機有照相功能請盡可能詳細的拍下事故現場圖片。

7. Don’t admit responsibility for the accident. 第七，不需要向對方道歉,即使你認為是你的錯.

8. Never leave the scene of the accident until it is appropriate to do so 第八，直至事故得到妥善處理以後方可離開事故現場。
